Anyone know where i can find the fluorescent backlight tubes for the preview screen on a Pagewriter xli M1700A? The service manual does not list the part number.

You probably need to find out the OEM P/N for the LCD display. This is the back light from inside of a LCD display right?
Probably made by NEC

Thanks for the idea. It's a Toshiba TLX-1501-C3M1. Searching that I found displays but no backlights.

At least getting the whole display should be alot cheaper then getting a new display from Philips.
They would probably charge you an arm and leg.
Good Luck

Okay, here is a "bush solution" you might want to check with a computer repair shop. They might be able to match up the tube with a tube from a laptop display that has gone bad. May not be perfect, but when in a pinch. .. ..
