when we use the brake, the left side wheel locks in that position after we release the brake. in order to "free" the wheel we have to put the brake in the middle position and slide it to the right, into the right hand side holder. otherwise it stays locked..any fix to this? anyone know where to get some drawings of the machine?

brake problem

GE doesn't has any docs for this on there web site.
But KMA remarketing is upstairs right now working on a brake problem and some other recall stuff for our refurbished OEC 9800 unit we got from them last week.

The guy working on it right now.
He was also bragging about all the digital service manuals he has.
I would hit him up, he said he didn't have a problem sharing.
Thanks,
Gary

I have seen corrosion bind the piston enough that the spring will not release it when the pedal is released. You'll have to disassemble, clean, and relubricate the mechanism to properly correct this. You can try lubricating and exercising the mechanism to free it more quickly.
