Does anyone out there have any ideas on how to correct a persistant grey ring? This only shows up while in the wide field and it is common to both lightheads. The tight light field is fine. Units are about 12 yrs old. Bulbs are the correct Amsco PN's in use. Not too much more I can see to adjust on these units other than replacing the entire optical core assemblies, if even available anymore.Any advice/ideas/experience would be greatly appreciated-Thanks

You might look at the condition of the internal reflector...is it dirty,
or cloudy?
Be very gentle cleaning that reflective surface...the coating is
delicate!

Be absolutely sure you have the correct bulb. I've seen bulbs that have the correct pin/base and "fit", are the right voltage and wattage, but the Base housing is TALLER then is supposed to be, causing the bulb/reflector Focal Point to be off...even if Steris supplied them, it could be a replacement bulb because the light itself is old...
