Case Exercise Applicaiton auto launch

Does anyone know how to stop the Case exercise application from auto starting?  I have looked at all the obvious locations to stop the auto start at logon but have not been able to find a place to stop it. We will be using the system for C-Pet studies and would like the staff to have to start the program from the icon.

To stop the CASE Exercise Application from automatically launching at startup on the GE CASE stress system, follow these steps:

Steps to Disable Auto-Launch

  1. Check Startup Programs (Windows-based Systems):

    • Right-click on the Taskbar and select Task Manager.
    • Go to the Startup tab.
    • Look for the CASE Exercise application or similar GE application name in the list.
    • Select it and click Disable.
  2. Review System Configuration:

    • Press, type, and hit Enter.
    • Navigate to the Startup tab (or Services in newer versions).
    • Uncheck any entry related to GE Case Exercise.
  3. Scheduled Tasks:

    • Open the Task Scheduler from the Control Panel or search bar.
    • Look for tasks related to the CASE application and disable any triggers that start it automatically.
  4. Application Preferences:

    • If available, open the CASE Exercise application itself and look for an auto-start or preferences option within the settings that can be disabled.
  5. Registry Editor (Advanced Users):

    • Press, type, and navigate to the following paths:
    • Look for entries related to CASE or GE applications and delete them (back up the registry first).
