hydraulic leak

Hey Bryan,
OK, good news. It's just mineral oil leaking out but you will absolutely need a new pair of pants after this. I actually add that into the bill every time I do one of these. I usually buy this piston from Replacement Parts Industries (RPI). A link to it is HERE. I usually raise the chair all the way up, take off the panels and pump cover. I cut the control wires to the old piston and tape the cable from the new piston to it, then pull the wires through the base so I don't need to fish it through by hand (which can be a pain.) The hydraulic lines should come off with a wrench and it should be fairly easy to swap out. I usually cycle the piston a few times after install to get any air bubbles out and top up the pump's reservoir when I'm done. CVS has small bottles of the stuff for a buck or two.
Let me know if you need more help!
Good Luck!
