To replace the bulb on a Leica Microsystems ARveo 8, first, unplug the microscope and allow the bulb to cool if it was recently on. Then, locate the light assembly at the top, press the sliding lock release to open the cover, and lift it off. Carefully pull out the old bulb, plug in the new one, ensuring it is seated firmly, and replace the cover by pushing down until it snaps into place. c
