E-4 on a PowerSpin DX usually means the controller isn’t getting a valid lid/door or rotor home signal at startup — the machine refuses to run for safety. Could be a simple switch/wiring issue or a failing position sensor/drive board.
Quick checks (do these first):
Power-cycle completely (main off ? wait 30s ? on).
Open/close lid several times and watch/feel the lid-lock engage.
Inspect lid interlock microswitch and wiring for loose plugs, corrosion, broken pins.
Manually check rotor can move freely (power off) — no jams or debris.
Check main fuses and the motor/drive supply voltages if you can safely access them.
If there’s a service/homing routine in the menu, run it and note where it stops.

Thank you for your response. I will do the checks you recommended first. Also, I will check the start circuit of the motor, because the centrifuge doesn't show the error if you give a little assistance to the rotor to start.
