Yeah, error 78 on the Lorad M-IV usually points to a collimator or SID motor fault—basically the system can’t verify proper position or travel. Check the limit switches and wiring to the SID/collimator drive first. If those are good, the control board could be dropping communication. Try reseating connectors before swapping parts.
