PRECOR banner only displays PR then 2 squares

I purchased this unit several years ago from a club that was going out of business. It has been a fantastic work out machine until today. This is the plug in version, not the 546i version.

I left it powered on for a couple weeks on accident and turned it off over the weekend.

Today, when I turned it on, it begins the PRECOR banner message but only gets to PR and then displays 2 squares. No ne of the buttons work.

Any ideas on where to look?

Sounds like the console locked up or partially failed.

Start simple:

Unplug it from the wall for 10–15 minutes (full power drain), then plug back in and try again.
Check the data cable from the console to the lower board. Reseat both ends — these get flaky.
If you have access, pull the console and look for bulging/leaking caps or corrosion.

Leaving it powered for weeks can cook components slowly. If reseating cables doesn’t fix it, odds are the console PCB is done.
