Error 326 immediatelly after booting up the system

Hello. dear colleagues.

I have been facing up some  starting up problems on a Philips C-Arm system (Release 2.3, Software release 2.5.4    2013).  The major problem appears at the end of starting up process. Function keys are not working on C-Arm control panel , neither indicator leds; error 326 is displayed on C-Arm stand-display. The only key that is working is  "i" (information). When I press this key, errors M326 and M050 are displayed. I have already +16v and -16v checked, also battery voltage, it is +340 VDC.

The left monitor on the MVS- monitor (monitors cart) shows "error en el controlador de cirugía" (surgery controller error) at the  bottom part of the screen.

I don´t have any technical informatión of this equipment.

Can anybody support me on this issue? I will be higly grateful to any help.

Thanks before hand.

Regards

Short version: this is not a power issue.

On BV Pulsera, M326 + M050 with dead keys/LEDs on the C-arm stand generally points to a stand control electronics / communication failure, not software.

What to check next

  • Reseat/inspect stand control PCB (inside the C-arm column)
  • Check CAN / communication cable between stand and system (very common failure)
  • Verify +5 V logic supply on the stand controller (±16 V and HV being OK is not enough)
  • Inspect for leaking caps or corrosion on the stand controller board
  • If available, swap stand controller PCB with a known good one

This is a hardware failure in the C-arm stand control electronics, not something that can be cleared by reboot or calibration.

First of all, thanks a lot Mr. Linton for replying.

Is it necessary to use the communication tool BV-Scope? I don´t have it.

Hello,
Error 326 is very much confusing and often caused by a weak battery-pack. I see you measured 340V. This should be 365V (unloaded) at a full charged battery. What do you see on the yellow charger lamp? is it bright? does it flash or is it lit on very low intensity? Sometimes you can do a kind of reset of the charger by switching off the stand, disconnect the system from the mains, taking out SAX1 for 5 minutes, reattach and switch on the system. If this is success: What happens to the 340V when you put 6mm Pb on the xray tube and press fluoroscopy HDF. Start at 70kV manual and increase HV stepwise to max. Be careful and take appropriate radiation protection.
Unfortunately you need the BV-scope key to download the logging which can tell you a lot more about this issue.
Do you still need the service doc (=70MB)?

Hello.

Thanks a lot for replying.

Where is SAX1 located in?

I can´t make any x-ray exposure because of the error...all keys are not functioning, only key "i" is working.

I don´t have  BV-Scope key, so I can´t see more information about this failure. It would be good to have it.

Yes, i still need the service doc. Any other assistance will be highly appreciated.

Regards

SAX1 is the big connector at the left side of the stand. Above this connector you see the yellow lamp as i described in my last message. The status of this lamp is important because it gives you a view of the status of the charging process.
The unloaded voltage must be 365V (with the mains plug connected and a working charger). This is important.
BV Scope key: i don't have it either.
