How can I convert PST contacts for cloud platforms like iCloud?

I recently migrated my emails from Microsoft Outlook, and now I want to upload only my contacts to a cloud platform such as Apple iCloud. My problem is that my contacts are still saved inside a PST file, and iCloud does not allow direct PST import. I am confused about the safest way to convert or export PST contacts into a format that iCloud can easily accept. I also want to make sure that important details like phone numbers, email addresses, and contact groups are not lost during the conversion process.
