Can errors

On the Swissray DDR Formula, CAN errors + “Rotation not available” usually point to a communication issue on the CAN bus, especially with the rotation/gantry control.

Most common causes:

• CAN bus wiring issue (loose, broken, or noisy line)
• Faulty rotation motor controller / node dropping off the bus
• Bad termination resistor on the CAN line
• Power issue to the rotation drive board
• Connector/pin damage

You’re chasing a CAN communication loss to the rotation controller, not a mechanical issue.
