Stuck in full and Trendelenburg and no other bed functions available

Bed came into shop stuck in full trend. Originally found a code for batteries. Batteries were both shot, so I replaced them and charged for 24hrs. This removed the battery code, but did not change the rest of the issues. Siderail controls are not "locked out". Both scale pods operate normally and bed exits will set. On both siderails, the nurse assist buttons work, but no function buttons do anything. I have isolated both siderails to see if one is causing any issues but no changes were found. I have replaced the Head of Bed main harness (connects the UCB to the siderails and head motor). I have replaced the Coil Cable that connects LCB to UCB. I have swapped out a known good UCB. I have tested the power from transformer to LCB and LCB to UCB. When power is delivered, all panel lights work. When you unplug AC power, normally the bed power will cut out after a few seconds, but DC power will continue and the bed will never "power down" until batteries are disconnected. When the head of bed is manually lifted and AC power is connected, the head motor will automatically turn on and lower itself all the way down. I have not changed the head end Hi-Lo motor, but I feel it doesn't make sense why that would cause all of these issues. I have not replaced the LCB or Transformer either, as I am getting power through both of them to the UCB. I have talked with HillRom tech support and have not had any luck with their offerings. Has anyone ever come across an issue similar to this or have any other ideas? Thankyou for your time.

have you looked at the CPR lever?

Since the head motor is running by itself when you apply power, it sounds more like an unintended motor command or feedback issue than a bad high low motor. I suggest checking LCB outputs to the head motor, head motor position, and feedback wiring, relay outputs looking for anything that stuck, the 8.25 V logic supply and regulated 5 V rails, and any ground reference continuity between LCB and UCB… That is after checking the CPR lever mentioned above as I've seen that happen many times
