The G.E. Innova systems are prone to locking up quite regularly and a shut down/start up procedure is a must. First,log out and turn off power at the console, second - turn off main electronics power by the handle on the generator electronics cabinet, third- turn off power to the UPS battery backup unit and finally flip the wall breaker and allow the system to sit for a minute. Power up by first turning on the wall breaker, reset power to the UPS, turn on power from the electronics cabinet and finally turn on console power. Failure to follow these simple instructions will lead to a frustrated staff and pissed off radiologist when he see's G.E. get the system up in 5 minutes!!
