RE: Zoll - X Series

Jun 6 2014

At less than 12 pounds (6 kilograms), the X Series™ is about half the size and half the weight of competitive full-featured monitor/defibrillators—but a lot more powerful. It's compact without any compromise in display size, capability, or performance. Designed specifically for EMS, the X Series offers everything you could ever want in an EMS device. And because it's based on a platform developed for the military and air medical operations, the X Series rises to a new standard in ruggedness and durability.http://www.zoll.com/xseries

Project StatReview is an educational initiative to familiarize rescuers with Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) that they may use in their workplaces, public locations or homes. The project provides a short video on how to power on the AED, an opportunity to listen to the provided voice prompts and how to deliver a rescue shock.

The Vivalink AED was the first flagship product by the Minneapolis based SurvivaLink Corporation, which later manufactured the popular SurVivaLink FirstSave AED. The Vivalink AED was unique in that it was one of the first modern AEDs to use a "one button" design by incorporating the power up feature with the opening of the lid cover. SurvivaLink was acquired by Cardiac Science in 2001, who continues to manufacturer similar AEDs under the Powerheart brand name.
